IT WORLDCUP AGAIN,2014
The most exciting football fiesta is on again featuring all football stars around the world. The world is at a standstill. We are all looking forward to the Brazil 2014 worldcup following indispensable group pairing that will change the face of worldcup finals in the history of FIFA. One would have to wait for 12th June to reveal intrigue skills,fascinating faces,intelligent passes,cutting edge strikes,astonishing dribbling qualities and indomitable defence buildup.
The U.S. team landed in the “Group of Death” along with world soccer powerhouses Germany and Portugal, and Ghana, the country that just happened to knock us out of the past two World Cup tournaments. The U.S. team’s chances look pretty bleak.
Though the drawing probably wasn’t rigged like some internet theories are suggesting, it’s pretty undeniable that the U.S. had some really crappy luck. And now, Ben Hoban has proof of just how crappy.
Hoban took FIFA’s team rankings, and seeded the World Cup tournament like the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament is seeded, with the best team facing the worst team to start the bracket, and so on. He then figured out the schedule for each World Cup team based on his “fair” seedings, and compared that to the actual FIFA draw. Turns out, the U.S. team’s actual schedule will be much more difficult than it would have been with Hoban’s bracket seedings.
GHANAIAN Team

Ghana FA officials in consultations with the sports ministry and coach Akwesi Appiah will be going through several recommendations following a fact-finding mission in Brazil.
A joint delegation from the Ghana FA and Sports Ministry arrived in Ghana on Wednesday night after witnessing the World Cup draw on December 6.
The delegation took the opportunity while in Brazil to inspect several facilities earmarked to be used by the Black Star team during their stay in Brazil for the tournament.
Ghana intends giving the Black Stars the best of preparations towards next year’s competition in order to meet the preferred target of at least a semi final berth.
The GFA will by next week announce plans on the team’s training camp, number of players to be called and even settle on opponents for friendly matches as the Black Stars begin intensive preparations for the World Cup on May 25.
“We will be drawing in consultation with the coach a comprehensive program for the team’s preparations which is most likely to start on the 25th of May because after 18th of May, all national team players are supposed to take a mandatory rest for one week,” GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi said.
“So no team can do any camping earlier than 25th of May.
“We will also be telling you where we will be camping, the number, the nature and opponents for our friendly matches that we will be playing and other related matters. We are confident that we will make it to the Quarter finals after beating Portugal and drawing with Germany.

GHANA BLACK STARS, OUR PRIDE

The black stars of Ghana,Ghana's national team football squad made Ghanaians proud by 
beating the most fancied and highly respectable Egyptian team emphatically with no return in the on going worldcup playoff. 

Ghana may have been Africa's best side in the last two World Cups, but those are not guarantees for reaching the 2014 finals.

Kwesi Appiah's men will require a first leg win in the playoff against Egypt to boost their chances of securing their spot in Brazil. The Black stars did it perfectly in a grand style of 
which our chance to be part of the worldcup in Brazil 2014 is more than 100%.

Ghana stormed the pharoahs, a massive 6-1 first leg win over Egypt in the World Cup qualifying playoff with a diamond performance. 

Ghana's massive thrashing of Egypt in Tuesday's World Cup playoff match has left Asamoah Gyan surprised about the goal haul by the Black Stars.

The Black Stars hit six goals past the North African side at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi to leave them in the box seat with a seemingly unassailable advantage heading into the return leg.

Gyan, who bagged a brace on the day, admits he never expected such a scoreline against one of the continents best.

“Honestly, no. I wasn’t expecting six goals today,” Gyan said at the post-match conference. 
Ghana is piosed to do more than the first performance of the worldcup. Black Stars we are proud of you. 

Green Computing

Green computing, also called green technology, is the environmentally responsible use of computers and related resources. Such practices include the implementation of energy-efficient central processing units (CPUs), servers and peripherals as well as reduced resource consumption and proper disposal of electronic waste (e-waste).
One of the earliest initiatives toward green computing in the United States was the voluntary labeling program known as Energy Star. It was conceived by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1992 to promote energy efficiency in hardware of all kinds. The Energy Star label became a common sight, especially in notebook computers and displays. Similar programs have been adopted in Europe and Asia.
Government regulation, however well-intentioned, is only part of an overall green computing philosophy. The work habits of computer users and businesses can be modified to minimize adverse impact on the global environment. Here are some steps that can be taken:

• Power-down the CPU and all peripherals during extended periods of inactivity.
• Try to do computer-related tasks during contiguous, intensive blocks of time, leaving hardware off at other times.
• Power-up and power-down energy-intensive peripherals such as laser printers according to need.
• Use liquid-crystal-display (LCD) monitors rather than cathode-ray-tube (CRT) monitors.
• Use notebook computers rather than desktop computers whenever possible.
• Use the power-management features to turn off hard drives and displays after several minutes of inactivity.
• Minimize the use of paper and properly recycle waste paper.
• Dispose of e-waste according to federal, state and local regulations.
• Employ alternative energy sources for computing workstations, servers, networks and data centers.
